Selling your site?

As usual with this time of year people start getting twitchy and get the idea that selling their business may be a damn sight nicer than running it for another year and hell, why not, you've put in the blood and sweat getting it to where it is and why shouldn't you reap the rewards.

It's really great to see some of the "smaller" players in the market making some strides and really looking at the sites they acquire, Red Advertising (parents to RedGoldfish) and Friday Ad Group (aviationjobsearch, careersinrecruitment, inautomotive, and the simply group of sites) and a few others are really moving up in the ownership stakes. It'll be interesting to see what they consider to be good sites for them to go for this year. There are certainly some great businesses out there that are doing good numbers in small niches sites like www.oZZle.co.uk (who I was talking to today) have something different to offer by being one of a very small number of players in their niche, they launched and Haymarket quickly followed with their own site, a good sign you are doing the right thing. Never know who is listening! :)
