Whilst having a quick look on Cheezhead I found this little gem, it's a great example of why some companies get things so wrong. Careerbuilder is a great site but, I have heard anecdotally I might add, that this is the strategy in the UK as well. It really does worry me that a job board in this day and age, particularly one with a global footprint and a great client list would miss the opportunity to tell the story of how much they have helped businesses understand recruitment process and the key part played by online media. Perrsonally I have always believed that a client that feels helped and who comes away from a sales call or a meeting feeling they have really learned soemthing is of more value to you as a sales person and will stay with you longer.
